Steve Kirby, the Gloucestershire fast bowler, has been hit with three penalty points by the ECB after breaching its discipline code during a Twenty20 game against Glamorgan last week.
Kirby was reported by umpires Rob Bailey and Vanburn Holder for a Level Two offence, bowling an accidental high full toss. The penalty points will remain on his record for two years; players are suspended if they collect nine points over a two-year period.
