Martin Love received two presents yesterday when he became a father for the first time and won back his Queensland place for the Pura Cup match against Victoria. After missing the past two months with a badly broken finger, Love will be the No. 3 for the Bulls at the Gabba on Sunday and have a new fan in a baby boy.
Craig Philipson, who is expected to play more when Shane Watson and Andrew Symonds go on one-day international duty, has been pushed out of the side while Ryan Leloux, the legspinner, has retained his place after being preferred to Ashley Noffke in the Pura Cup win against Tasmania.
Queensland are undefeated in the Pura Cup this season while Victoria, the defending champions, are last.
