No decision made on 2009 World Cup

The ICC has issued a statement reiterating that no decision has been made regarding the hosting of the ICC Women's World Cup in 2009. This follows media reports which indicated a host had already been picked.

The hosting of this and other ICC events from 2007 to 2015 are currently under consideration. The next discussions on the hosting of these events will take place at the ICC executive board meeting on April 30.

Submissions to host the 2009 Women's World Cup have been received from India, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates.
