Heavy rain throughout the morning has held up any progress in the Frizzell Championship match against Durham at The Rose Bowl.
Hampshire still require 95 for victory with 8 wickets remaining, sit in the dressing room frustrated by the conditions.
Lunch was taken at the normal time of 1:15, but it could be some time before the umpires come out and look.
Umpires Clarkson and Willey decided that the conditions had become to bad, and decided at 1:30pm to abandon play for the day.
