The dates for Pakistan's full tour of Zimbabwe have finally been announced little more than two weeks before the first match. Pakistan will play two Tests, three ODIs and two Twenty20s in a tour that begins on August 23 and ends on September 14.

All the limited-overs matches and the first Test will be played in Harare, while the second Test will be held in Bulawayo.

The series was originally supposed to take place last December but was postponed as it clashed with Pakistan's tour of India after the two countries decided to resume bilateral cricketing relations.

A space opened up in the schedule for the tour to Zimbabwe as Pakistan and West Indies were unable to find a window for playing Tests against each other, and pared down their series to a bunch of ODIs and Twenty20s.

It continues a busy home season for Zimbabwe, who have already hosted Bangladesh and India in the past three months.
