The Pakistan Cricket Board Director Chishty Mujahid has issued following statement in response to New Zealand Cricket chief executive Martin 's statement that the ICC has rejected PCB's compensation demand.
"During the ICC Board of Director's meeting in Johannesburg, Sir John Anderson (chairman NZC)had discussed this issue with me and both of us agreed to resolve the matter by mutual discussions and agreement and as such take the matter out of the jurisdiction of the ICC Disputes Resolution Committee.
"This had been officially conveyed at the meeting in Johannesburg.Sir John said that after having gone through the papers in detail, he had come to the conclusion that there was merit in the case put forward by Pakistan Cricket Board. He further added that New Zealand owed some cricket to Pakistan. Details of this will be worked out between the two boards as soon as possible."
