President of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) visits Israel

Mr Sharad Pawar, the Indian Minister of Agriculture was in Israel last week to participate in the annual Agritech exhibition held in Tel Aviv. Mr Pawar is also the President of the BCCI, one of the most powerful cricketing bodies in the world today.

Aside from meeting with cabinet ministers, Mr Pawar also met with Stanley Perlman, Chairman of the Israel Cricket Association. "I was very honoured to meet with the President of the BCCI and hope that our meeting will result in relations between the BCCI and the ICA being raised to a new level to match the close ties between Israel and India on the diplomatic front", said Perlman.
