Ambati Rayudu has been chosen to lead the 14-member Indian squad in the under-19 World Cup, which will be held in Bangladesh from February 9 to March 7. Dinesh Karthik, the wicketkeeper from Tamil Nadu, has been named the vice-captain, with Robin Singh taking on the coaching duties.
Announcing the squad, Ratnakar Shetty, the joint secretary of the Indian board, said that the players would undergo a 15-day training camp at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, before leaving for Bangladesh on February 9.
