Retravision Warriors ING Cup team announcement

The WACA has announced the Retravision Warriors team to take on the Speedblitz Blues in an ING Cup clash at North Sydney Oval on Sunday.

Justin Langer will captain the side against Steve Waugh's men in a replay of last year's ING Cup Grand-Final.

Willetton all-rounder John Taylor comes into the squad after a series of impressive displays in the Vodafone Cup. Taylor (24) moved to WA from Melbourne at the start of last season to further his prospects of state selection.

Fast-bowler Michael Thistle retains his place in the team after an impressive debut against the West End Redbacks.

Darren Wates (stomach strain and broken toe), Paul Wilson (fractured jaw) and Michael Clark (back) were not available for selection through injury.

Wilson may be available for the Pura Cup match against the Blues starting at the SCG on Tuesday, October 4th.
