Chris Rogers, the Western Australian batsman, has been included in the 12-man squad for the Pura Cup match against Queensland, which starts at the WACA on Sunday, November 21. Rogers had missed all the matches so far this season after undergoing surgery for chronic shoulder and hamstring problems.
Western Australia have also brought in fast bowler Brett Dorey for his Pura Cup debut. Dorey made his ING Cup debut against Victoria last Sunday, after impressing the state selectors in the WACA Pennant cricket. Playing for Freemantle last season, Dorey took 48 wickets at just 11.46, and was particularly impressive with his ability to bowl fast and extract disconcerting bounce from his 6' 8" frame.
