Man-of-the-match Ryan ten Doeschate inspired the Netherlands to an eight-wicket triumph over Bermuda in their fourth ICC World Cricket League Division 1 encounter on Sunday.
For the fourth consecutive match in this competition, Bermuda failed to see out their 50 overs.
Gus Logie's side made 194 from 46.3 overs, David Hemp contributing 58 and Lionel Cann a quickfire 48.
The Dutch then strolled to 198 with Ten Doeschate recording his highest ODI score of 109 not out. The Essex man was ably assisted by Bas Zuiderent, who hit a gritty 71.
The win keeps the Netherlands' slim chances of reaching Wednesday's final mathematically alive, but Peter Cantrell's team need to beat Ireland by a substantial margin on Monday and hope Canada can do likewise against Kenya.
Despite Sunday's defeat to Scotland, the hosts remain favourites to progress due to their superior net run-rate.
Bermuda made two changes, with Stephen Outerbridge and Arthur Pitcher coming into the line-up in place of Delyone Borden and Saleem Mukuddem. Muhammad Kashif came into the Dutch team in place of the injured Billy Stelling.
After being put in to bat, the Bermudian innings could not have got off to a worse start.
Clay Smith was clean bowled by Darron Reekers in the second over for one and fellow opener Outerbridge - making his first appearance of the tournament - fell the same way to Edgar Schiferli in the third after making four.
Irving Romaine - the first Bermudian to score an ODI century when he registered 101 against Canada last year - did not fare much better.
The captain was trapped leg before wicket by Reekers for two as the Dutch picked up their third wicket in as many overs.
Glamorgan skipper Hemp was joined in the middle by Janeiro Tucker with the score on 11 for three, and the pair put on 58 for the fourth wicket. Their partnership was ended when Tucker, on 32, clipped a ten Doeschate delivery to Zuiderent at cover.
Dean Minors did not make double figures before ten Doeschate got him lbw to leave Logie's side 93 for five.
That brought Cann to the crease and his arrival prompted a significant increase in the run-rate.
The aggressive all-rounder punished every loose ball as he shared a stand of 63 with Hemp. Hemp, whose highest first-class score of 247 not out came in an Intercontinental Cup match against the Netherlands last year, passed the half-century mark in style by smashing Daan van Bunge into the trees over the square leg boundary. But he was dismissed shortly afterwards, caught behind by Jeroen Smits off Kashif for 58.
Malachi Jones made just four before departing lbw to Peter Borren, and then Cann's knock came to an end when he went for one big hit too many.
After whacking Kashif a matter of inches over Reekers' outstretched arm on the long-on boundary, Cann tried the same trick again two balls later and was sent packing. He made 48 from 37 deliveries.
Kashif struck again in his next over, having Pitcher caught by Alexei Kervezee at mid-off for eight.
Dwayne Leverock was the last man out for Bermuda, lbw to Ten Doeschate for nine in the 47th over.
Ten Doeschate finished with three for 37 and Kashif three for 42.
Like the Bermudians, the Dutch innings suffered an early setback when Kevin Hurdle had Reekers caught at slip by Leverock - albeit after a juggling act - in the first over.
Zuiderent and ten Doeschate adopted a patient approach and took no unnecessary risks as they gradually snuffed out any hope Bermuda had after their early breakthrough.
After putting on 177 for the second wicket, their partnership ended when Jones bowled Zuiderent, but Van Bunge came in at number four and accompanied ten Doeschate until the end. He finished unbeaten on five.
In Monday's final round of matches, the Bermudians return to Ruaraka to face Scotland while the Dutch take on Ireland at Gymkhana.
