Sharad Ghai welcomes ICC intervention

Sharad Ghai has welcomed the ICC's announcement that the Africa Cricket Association (ACA) will travel to Kenya to try to resolve the crisis in the country. The ICC made the announcement on Friday.

"We are interested in seeing the crisis ended amicably for the good of the game and the players," Ghai, the head of the recently disbanded Kenyan board, told the AFP news agency. "The news that ICC will be sending ACA officials to mediate in the matter is very positive and welcome."
