Bloomfield defeated Kalpana SC by four wickets in their BCCSL Division three cricket tournament match played at Reid Avenue recently.

Kalpana SC: 44 in 16.2 overs (C. Chaminda 14, L. Moses 2 for 15, T. Narangoda 4 for 8, S. Dissanayake 4 for 7)

Bloomfield: 45 for 6 in 11.5 overs (P. D. Kudaliyanage 4 for 17) Washed out

The second day's play in the three-day match between the touring Australian Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy team and the Sri Lanka XI was washed out due to bad weather conditions at the SSC grounds, Maitland Place yesterday.

The two teams will now play two limited-over matches today and tomorrow at the same venue commencing at 10.00 a.m.
