SRI LANKA SPORTS NEWS AT-A-GLANCE

* Sri Lanka's ABN Amro Bank beat their Pakistan counterparts by 8 wickets at the final of the Asia Pacific international limited over cricket final at the NCC grounds.

Pakistan, batting first, were shot out for 113 off 29.5 overs ( Vijay Hazare 28, Salman Dhar 16, Nishan Fernando 3 for 26, Vinod Sivapragasam 2 for 17.). In reply, Sri Lanka ABN team made 114 for 2 off 20. 5 overs (Shalinka de Silva 42,, Rukshan Dias 30, Sudharsha Perera 23 n.o, Vinod Sivapragasam 12 n.o). India won the third place beating Singapore by 4 runs in a game restricted to 25 overs per side due to overnight rain.
