Karachi, Oct 24: Test rejects Mohammad Wasim and Wajahatullah Wasti
were named captains of the two teams that would play four-day firstclass matches against England, the selectors announced here on
Tuesday.
Mohammad Wasim, out of action since the tour of the West Indies, will
skipper the Patron's Eleven in the Nov 1 to 4 match at Rawalpindi
while local boy Wajahatullah Wasti will lead the NWFP Governor's
Eleven in the Nov 8 to 11 match at Peshawar. Wasti's last Test was
also against the West Indies in West Indies.
The Patron's Eleven include three Test players (Wasti, Mohammad Akram
and Naveed Qureshi) and an international (Javed Qadeer) while the NWFP
Governor's Eleven comprise four Test discards (Wajahat, Kabir Khan,
Younis Khan and Mohammad Husain).

Abbas, Imran Abbas, Javed Qadeer (wicketkeeper), Mohammad Altaf,
Mohammad Shafiq, Ali Raza, Kamran Ali, Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Akram,
Munir Ansari, Rana Kausar Javed, Salman Shah.
NWFP Governor's Eleven: Wajahatullah Wasti (captain), Taufiq Umer,
Taimoor Khan, Yasir Hameed, Younis Khan, Adnan Akmal, Mohammad Husain,
Imran Farhat, Sajid Shah, Kashif Raza, Kabir Khan and Mian Adnan.
