Russell leads a Gloucestershire late-order recovery.
* The Pakistan Cricket Board cancels the tour by the Indian women's
team the day before they were due to arrive. Non-availability of
grounds in Pakistan is given as the reason.

on a tied total, Sussex make 299 chasing Surrey's 310, and British
Universities give Hampshire a run for their money.
* Leeward Islands beat the Windwards in the weekend's only [92]Red
Stripe Cup match to finish in a result. Barbados have a commanding
lead on the ladder with two rounds to play.
* The Pakistan Women's Cricket Control Association files a lawsuit
against the Pakistan Women's Cricket Association over control of
the women's game in Pakistan. The court hearing is scheduled to
commence May 16.
* In Bangladesh, Chittagong DSA retain the National Cricket
Championship by defeating Bangladesh Biman by an innings and 64
runs with a day to spare in the four-day final at the Dhaka
Stadium. Chittagong captain Akram Khan was man-of-the-match for
his unbeaten knock of 122.
