We have already enjoyed a highly successful partnership and their decision to extend this for a further two years is a clear indication of Merchant Investor?s confidence in the Club. The next two years will be very exciting and I look forward to further success together."
Mike Newnham, Managing Director of Merchant Investors Said "Following the superb success of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club on the field and the continued growth of the stature of the Club off the field, Merchant Investors is delighted to continue its existing sponsorship. We regard this sponsorship as excellent value for money, given the wide television and press exposure we have had as a result of the success of the Club"
The new two year deal represents the biggest sponsorship deal in the history of the Club and emphasises the development off the field that is complimenting the success on the field.
The fact that the Club is now an international venue and is staging England v Australia in 2001, at Bristol, is just another reason why Merchant Investors are proud to continue their association with the Club.
