SYDNEY, Jan 3 AAP - Steve Waugh today became the third player in history to make 10,000 Test runs.
Waugh brought up the milestone when he reached 69 in Australia's first innings in the fifth Ashes Test against England at the Sydney Cricket Ground today to record a career total of 10,000.
He joins the company of former Australian captain Allan Border (11,174) and former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar (10,122).
