Western Province win inter-provincial

Western Province are the South African Women's cricket inter-provincial champions for 2002/03 having won the Platinum Group of this year's tournament which was held in East London from 31 March to 04 April.

Province, led by Alison Hodgkinson, won their four matches in the six-team round-robin before the final day's play was washed out. Boland won the Gold Division and have been promoted to the Platinum division next season, with North-West relegated in their place.
