Chris Gayle:
Hey everyone,
The draw in third Test in Antigua is a victory for us. I have to commend the guys for the effort they put in this test match. It's really tremendous to come out with a draw.
The result ensures that we head to Barbados for the fourth Test still 1-0 up in the five-match Digicel Series 2009.
I have to give a special praise to Fidel Edwards whose match saving innings is the third for us. It's like a customary thing for him. He has done it before and he's done it here again today. You have to give credit to him and Daren Powell the way they batted.
The No. 11 batsman Edwards and his No. 10 partner Daren Powell negotiated a tense final 36 minutes and 60 deliveries to secure the important draw.
It's something we've been working on. Everybody has to step up in a crucial moment of the game. It's not an individual game.
Now we head off to Barbados for the fourth Test where we will again do our best, work as a team and give the fans an exciting game.
Well that’s all for now! Stay tuned as I, along with other West Indies cricketers, will be keeping our diary of the Test series.
