Fernando 3-71); ‡Sri Lanka Board President's XI 103-3 (21 overs). The West Indian top order failed again, crashing to 109-7 after 30 overs, before an astonishing eighth-wicket stand of 193 in 16.3 overs saved the day. Andre Russell hit six sixes and six fours, but was outdone by Carlos Brathwaite, who reached 100 in just 50 balls, slamming seven sixes and ten fours in all. The President's XI reply was cut short by rain after 21 overs, at which point their D/L target was 147.
