At Bulawayo (Athletic Club), July 13, 2014. Afghanistan won by 16 runs. Afghanistan 209 (50 overs) (Usman Ghani 79); ‡Zimbabwe A 193 (48.3 overs) (C. T. Mutombodzi 60, L. M. Jongwe 50; Sharafuddin Ashraf 6-29). Three stars of the recent Under-19 World Cup showed they were not overawed at this level: Usman Ghani held Afghanistan together with 79 from 110 balls, before left arm spinner Sharafuddin Ashraf claimed six wickets on List A debut. Luke Jongwe's fifty took the game to the wire.
