Yorkshire romped to the top of the table following an easy victory against bottom-placed Glamorgan under the lights at Cardiff. In fact, the lights were hardly required as they restricted the home side to 129 for 8 in a match reduced to 35 overs and then knocked off the runs in 17.2 overs.
Darren Gough and Richard Pyrah did the damage with the ball, each taking three wickets. There was one each for Jason Gillespie and Tim Bresnan, too. Glamorgan were in serious trouble at 60 for 5, but Mark Wallace helped to dig them out with an unbeaten 37. The total, though, was still far too low.
Jacques Rudolph and Gerard Brophy both scored at better than a run-a-ball, after Craig White fell for 0, to take Yorkshire towards victory. Brophy finally fell for 66 from 36 balls, and Rudolph (49*) and Anthony McGrath (8*) did the rest.
