Scotland lead Associate ODI rankings

Scotland have underlined their position at the top of the ICC Associate ODI rankings after good performances in the World Cricket League in Nairobi

Scotland have underlined their position at the top of the ICC Associate ODI rankings after good performances in the World Cricket League in Nairobi. Kenya, who beat Scotland in the final, are not included as they are part of the main rankings until 2009.

Scotland beta Netherlands, Canada and Ireland in the tournament, giving them a 69% win rate against other Associates, well clear of Netherlands in second place. Ireland ate third after a disappointing event, Canada are fourth and Bermuda fifth.

    Its really gud to c bangladesh no longer amongst the minnows. they have world class spinners lyk rafique, saquib and razzak which can break any batting order. they now just need to improve their batting and together as a team prove their consistency and if they do so in few years tym they r going to be a cricketing powerhouse

    It is good to see the above 5 countries do well and they should try to get into the one day arena as automatic choices to play the World Cup just like Kenya and Bangladesh.They should have the best coaching and practice facilities and play against the A teams of the top 5 one day cricket playing countries.The same applies to Nepal and Uganda.
