India 97 for 1 (Suryakumar 39*, Gill 37*) vs Australia - No Result
Rain in Canberra ruined the opening T20I of the five-match series between Australia and India, also cutting short an eye-catching display from captain Suryakumar Yadav who was beginning to rekindle the form he had showed at the IPL earlier this year.
Suryakumar and Shubman Gill had carried India to a promising 97 for 1 in the 10th over of a contest already reduced to 18 overs per side by an earlier stoppage when heavier rain came through and eventually forced the call-off shortly before 10pm.

Victoria 256 & 35 for 1 (Kellaway 15*, Meredith 1-8) lead Tasmania 232 (Doran 73, Perry 5-58) by 59 runs
Test allrounder Beau Webster was knocked over cheaply while Mitchell Perry continued his outstanding start to the season with a five-wicket haul to hand Victoria a narrow but important lead over Tasmania at the Junction Oval.
Perry claimed the second best figures of his Sheffield Shield career, 5 for 58, as Tasmania were bowled out for 232 on day two with wicketkeeper Jake Doran continuing his excellent start to the season with a fighting 73 on a difficult batting surface.

Tickner makes sparkling international return to lead New Zealand to series win

Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell and Mitchell Santner made big contributions with the bat in New Zealand's small chase

New Zealand 177 for 5 (Mitchell 56*, Ravindra 54, Santner 34*, Archer 3-23) beat England 175 (Overton 42, Brook 34, Tickner 4-34, Smith 2-27) by five wickets
New Zealand completed a clinical series victory over England with a game to spare, dismantling their opponents in the second ODI at Seddon Park by five wickets.
Much like the first ODI, this was a formality for the hosts, this time dismissing their opponents for 175. In a repeat performance, it was Daryl Mitchell who led them with 56 not out to go with his 78 not out in Mount Manganui on Saturday, after Rachin Ravindra's 54 helped break the back of a manageable chase. New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner blitzed an unbeaten 34 from 17 to add an exclamation point on their dominance, reinforced by the 101 balls unused in their innings, firing them to a 2-0 lead heading into Saturday's third and final match in Wellington.

South Africa 194 for 9 (Hendricks 60, Linde 36, Nawaz 3-26) beat Pakistan 139 (Ayub 37, Nawaz 36, Bosch 4-14, Linde 3-31 by 55 runs
Against a second-string South Africa side, Pakistan produced a second-rate performance, with the faultless visitors crushing the hosts by 55 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. South Africa's top three, shepherded by a half-century from Reeza Hendricks, saw them fly into an advantage they never relinquished, rallying at the death after getting stuck midway to post 194.
Pakistan's response was found wanting in all phases of the game as South Africa's seamers kept Pakistan on a leash, with Corbin Bosch and George Linde picking up clumps of wickets along the way. Pakistan were derailed both by a mounting asking rate and the fall of wickets, and their defeat was de facto confirmed long before the final wicket fell in front of an emptied-out Rawalpindi stadium.

Green doesn't bowl but shines in the field as Western Australia dominate

Lehmann played a lone hand with 96 off 126 to lift South Australia to a total that appeared unlikely after their top-order succumbed to sharp bounce

Western Australia 87 for 0 (Bancroft 52*, Whiteman 30*) trail South Australia 215 (Lehmann 96, Rocchiccioli 3-35, Kelly 3-49) by 128 runs
Cameron Green once again showed off superb athleticism in the gully but did not bowl in his return as Western Australia dominated the opening day of their Sheffield Shield match against South Australia at the WACA.
After missing the India ODIs due to side soreness, all eyes were on Green with his bowling status unknown ahead of the Ashes. Even though he has been bowling in the nets, Green is set to play as a specialist batter in this match. He is likely to return to bowling in WA's next Shield match against Queensland starting on November 11.

Tasmania 4 for 1 (Perry 1-0) trail Victoria 256 (Meredith 3-37, Bell 3-63)
Australia Test allrounder Beau Webster took a wicket and got through 12 overs on return from an ankle injury but Tasmania team-mate and Test hopeful Jake Weatherald fell for a duck late on another day dominated by the bowlers at the Junction Oval in Melbourne.
Eleven wickets fell on the opening day. Riley Meredith and Gabe Bell took three wickets apiece for Tasmania as Victoria were bowled out for 256 before Weatherald was caught behind off the bowling of Mitchell Perry in the last over of the day. Tasmania finished 4 for 1 at stumps following a nasty two-over batting stint in the late evening sun.

Radha shines in washout between India and Bangladesh

India were well poised to win the shortened game but the weather just couldn't hold out

Match abandoned India 57 for 0 (Mandhana 34*, Amanjot 15*) vs Bangladesh 119 for 9 (Sharmin 36, Radha 3-30, Shree Charani 2-23)
Unseasonal rain washed out the final group stage match of the Women's World Cup, with India well-poised to complete a big win over Bangladesh. The weather played more games than the cricketers after the start of play was delayed for two hours, which initially reduced the match to 43-overs-a-side. A further two-hour stoppage 12.2 overs into Bangladesh's innings made it a 27-overs-a-side match and India were set a revised target of 126.
They were on track at 57 for 0 in the ninth over but more showers meant the minimum 20 overs could not be completed.
