Tawanda Muyeye cemented himself as the leading run-scorer in the Men's Vitality Blast 2025 with a jaw-dropping maiden T20 century as Kent Spitfires tore rivals Essex apart.
Muyeye became Kent's eighth T20 hundred-maker, with the club's joint-most sixes in an innings as he hoisted his bat on a stunning 58-ball 100.

Durham claimed their second Vitality Blast win over Yorkshire in six days as they strengthened their position inside the North Group's top four places with a comprehensive victory at the Banks Homes Riverside.
With this 63-run success, Durham's fifth in eight matches, they all but ended Yorkshire's chances of reaching the quarter-finals. This was their sixth defeat in eight as they failed to chase 194.

After restricting Glamorgan to 130 for 9 courtesy of 4 for 21 from Australian overseas Riley Meredith, Somerset knocked off a sub-par total to remain top of the South Group and head into the mid-competition break with seven wins from eight while Glamorgan's symmetrical win-loss record makes them likely to drop outside the all-important top four.

A partnership of exactly 100 between opener George Munsey and No. 3 Brandon McMullen set the base for Scotland's comfortable win against Nepal in the tri-nation series, and it was rounded off by a collective bowling performance.
Scotland's 34-run win brought the curtain down on a series that also featured Netherlands, with all three teams ending on two wins from four. Scotland, however, topped the table on superior net run-rate. Nepal finished second.

The two faces of India's new generation of Test batters traded sparkling centuries to dominate England on the opening day at Headingley. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill cruised to hundreds as opener and No. 4 respectively, shrugging off the absence of two modern greats whose retirements have vacated those roles: no Rohit Sharma, no Virat Kohli, no problem.
Jaiswal plundered 712 runs in India's home series against England 18 months ago; here, he provided further evidence of his adaptability. His century was a masterclass in off-side strokeplay: each of his 17 boundaries, including a vicious cut for six over cover, came on the off side, and he took only 48 balls to move from 50 to 100.

Warwickshire handed The Blaze their first defeat of the Women's Vitality Blast campaign, by 25 runs, in a clash of two of the competition's front-runners at Edgbaston.
Warwickshire's total of 172 for 6 was built upon strong contributions from their top three with Sterre Kalis hitting 54 (41 balls), Meg Austin 39 (30) and Davina Perrin 25 (18). Thereafter runs came less freely as Kathryn Bryce dismissed those three on the way to an excellent 4 for 21.

A devastating new-ball burst from seamers Esmae MacGregor and Kate Coppack helped Essex snap a four-game losing streak in the Vitality Blast as they eased past Durham by six wickets at the Banks Homes Riverside.
MacGregor and Coppack claimed two wickets apiece as Durham, inserted, slipped to 17 for 4 in four overs, only able to recover to an under-par 101 for 8 total.

Michael Levitt scored a quickfire 86 off 53, following his 90 against Scotland, but his efforts were in vain in the T20 tri-series fixture on Thursday as Nepal triumphed over Netherlands by six wickets. Levitt's knock helped Netherlands post 174 for 7, but Nepal chased down the target with two balls to spare, thanks to solid contributions from opener Kushal Bhurtel and Aarif Sheikh.
Asked to bat first, Netherlands were in trouble early on, losing four wickets for 45 runs in the powerplay. However, Saqib Zulfiqar and Levitt managed to build a 63-run stand for the fifth wicket to stabilise the innings as Levitt brought up a 20ball half-century. Nepal broke through in the 12th over again when Sandeep Lamichhane had Zulfiqar stumped for 14. Three overs later, Levitt, who had struck six fours and five sixes, was dismissed by fast bowler Karan KC to dent Netherlands further, placing them on 127 for 6.

Tom Helm held his nerve in a nail-biting final over as Middlesex began the post Richard Johnson era with a one-run victory over Essex, three years to the day after their last Vitality Blast win at Lord's.
Forty-eight hours on from Johnson being relieved of duty, Helm (2 for 31) claimed the crucial wicket of Luc Benkenstein in defending 10 off the final six balls to see Middlesex home.
