A middle-order batsman who bowls occasional medium pace, Rovman Powell has been a semi-regular feature of West Indies' white-ball squads without nailing down a spot.
Powell's maiden ODI hundred, against Ireland in 2018, helped them to a crucial win during the World Cup qualifier, and captained a weakened side in Bangladesh later that year, but was left out of the squad for the tournament itself in 2019.
He has been a consistent performer for Jamaica in white-ball cricket, with runs from the middle order, and captained the Tallawahs franchise in the 2020 CPL. He was part of the KKR squad during the 2017 IPL, though didn't play a game, and was player of the match in the final of the inaugural T10 League in 2018, hitting 61 not out off 25 balls for the victorious Northern Warriors.
