Brilliant run out! Bailey has produced something special. Mennie cracks a drive to cover, Bailey makes a diving save, there's some confusion before Bollinger decides to turn back at the non striker's end, Bailey jumped to his feet and hits the one stump he has to aim at. Bollinger is inches short! That will do it.
Hurricanes vs Sixers, 4th Match at Sydney, Dec 23 2016 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Comprehensive win for the Hurricanes to start their campaign. It was set up by a stunning opening partnership in the first innings. D'Arcy Short was devastating on T20 debut. Tim Paine provided great support to set up a big total. The Sixers chase was on the rate for quite some time but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. A three-wicket over from Shaun Tait put the game beyond doubt.
So the Sixers are now 1-1 and will host the Scorchers next Tuesday at the SCG. The Hurricanes play again on Boxing day in Hobart when they host the Melbourne Stars.
