The Lightning's long unbeaten run in the competition finally comes to an end, it safe to say that the Knight's were worthy winners today.
From the moment that Paul Stirling look apart the opening bowlers, the Knights always had the chase under control.
Lawlor adn Georgeson put together an excellent 138 run partnership, with both of them hitting their highest List A scores.
McCarthy was the pick of the Lightning bowlers and ended up with 3 wickets. Although the rest of the bowlers didn't back him up.
The Knights pick up four points for the win and help breathe life back into this years competition.
It won't be long until the next game in the IP50, this Tuesday we head to Stormont as the Warriors are the visitors. Hopefully you'll be able to join me then.
