Bavuma does it! Picks the full legcutter outside off and smacks it over mid-off to seal the eight-wicket win!
6:57pm A dominant performance from South Africa, not that anything else was expected. As soon as the winning runs were hit, Bavuma fist-bumped in the direction of the dressing room before sharing a hug with Markram at the other end. Handshakes and hugs all around in the home team's dressing room. Bavuma and Markram's partnership was worth 102 unconquered and more importantly before the rain. A lot of it was forecast for today but South Africa have managed to seal the deal before it even arrived.
Shamsi and Magala's three-fors had kep Netherlands to a low score before South Africa coasted in the chase. Peter will be here shortly with the presentations.
Netherlands captain Scott Edwards: "It was a good start but we've got to go on with it from there. 189 was always going to be well below the mark. We needed to bowl exceptionally, which we didn't. We've had a lot of decent innings but we need guys to start going on and get big hundreds. Hopefully we can come back and put on a better show on Sunday."
Player of the Match is Sisanda Magala for his 3 for 37: "It's just keeping it as simple as possible. It's important to not try to overthink stuff and that was my role today. I like to envision what I want to achieve during the game. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't. The nerves are always there. The team environment is very good and very welcoming. They embrace everyone's differences. You can go out there and express yourself. It's an environment where people are encouraged to go out and excel. I'm excited and nervous about the opportunity [to go to the IPL] because it'll be the longest I've ever been away from home. Tomorrow is packing day."
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma: "We had it first up with the ball but what I said to the team was to keep our shape. With our batting, the approach was the same. Assess conditions first and then back our execution. That was a big confidence booster for Shamsi. We still back him as our match-winner. In the last couple of weeks, I'm just enjoying my cricket. There's a certain backing in the team environment at the moment. It always makes things a lot better when you know the 'how'. I don't think I've changed anything technically but just think my plans are a lot clearer."
That's it for today's coverage. On behalf of Sudarshanan, I'm Peter Della Penna. Come back for the series finale on Sunday. Until then, take care!

Full and outside off, times his push past mid-off. The timing is quite good as the ball races along. O'Dowd sprints from mid-on, puts in the slide and keeps it down to three.
