26.2 to WIA Fernando, Screamer at backward point! This is short outside off and Avishka goes on the back foot to slap it hard behind point. It was flying to Ibrahim Zadran's right, but he sharply throws both hands at it leaping to his right and holds on! Great work and Fareed, thanks largely to Ibrahim, gets the breakthrough for Afghanistan. Avishka goes for a very well made 88. 182-run stand comes to an end. 182/1 47.1 to S Samarawickrama, Samarawickrama holes out at deep midwicket. Slower bouncer going across the batter from Fareed and Samarawickrama goes for the pull but doesn't get nearly enough on it. Omarzai takes the catch, with the ball hit against the wind. 35.2 to BKG Mendis, Straight in the air, and that's taken by Gulbadin running across from mid-off! Mendis was tied down and wanted to let loose. Goes for a big slog, but only gets a top edge. This was on a length around off, and Mendis doesn't get to the pitch of it as he skips out. Good catch by Gulbadin, getting under that and grabbing it. 1.1 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, bowled him with a perfect inducker! Gurbaz can't quite believe it. This is hitting the top of off, and Madushan is ecstatic. It was that in-between length, and Gurbaz was rooted to the crease, perhaps expecting the ball to go away. It pitches slightly outside off and comes back at him instead, whooshes between bat and pad and rattles timber. Afghanistan will have hoped for Gurbaz runs chasing 382. 5/1 3.1 to Ibrahim Zadran, another wicket off the first ball of the over. Madushan is rocking here. This is length outside off, but it leaves the batter off the pitch. And he's got the prize-wicket of Ibrahim, who is a longtime tormentor of Sri Lanka. It's a bit of a leaden-footed push, really. It takes the outside edge and flies into the hands of slip, where main man Nissanka is waiting.. 10/2 5.2 to Hashmatullah Shahidi, but today Madushan does not take that kind of treatment! What a response. This is swinging in again, pitching on a length, and Hasmat is across already, expecting the angle to take the ball away from him. Madushan's wrists are working some magic though, because this comes back in at him, and it passes between bat and pad to hit the top of off. This is special from Madushan, who did this exact thing to a right-hander to get his first wicket.. 19/3 45.2 to Mohammad Nabi, Madushan is Sri Lanka's star this innings! Outfoxes Nabi with a slower ball. Full and wide, legcutter. Nabi looks to swing it down the ground but ends up slicing it straight up in the air. Madushan claims it, settles under it and holds on with ease. A fantastic effort from Nabi comes to an end, a fantastic partnership comes to an end. And Madushan has his fourth!. 297/6 | ||||||||||

6.2 to Rahmat Shah, superb from Chameera and Kusal Mendis, who leaps to his right in front of slip to take this catch! This is a length ball outside off stump which Shah throws his bat at. The ball was dying well in front of Nissanka at slip though, and Mendis made the early decision to go for it, and gets across beautifully to pouch that chance.. 27/4 8.3 to Gulbadin Naib, out now! Chameera wins the battle. Bowls full outside off stump, and Gulbadin carves him directly to point. It's that guy Nissanka again (suspect if Sri Lanka win he'll be player of the match, just quietly), who takes the catch at belly-height.
