6.6 to L Wolvaardt, takes the pace off and knocks Wolvaardt over! That's a wonderful legcutter from a bowler playing her second international, and it is good enough to fool one of the form batters in the world right now. This was pitched on the full side of a good length, with the ball coming out the back of the hand. It pitches, and takes some deviation off the surface, which Wolvaardt does not expect. It beats her outside edge and clatters into the top of off. Madara will remember that one for a while - she is elated.. 27/2 46.3 to N de Klerk, slower ball yorker and that has hit timber! Madara's been going at the stumps with those legcutters, and could easily have had a couple of lbw decisions in her last few overs. The umpire doesn't need to get involved here, though. De Klerk is through her shot (an attempted heave down the ground) way too early, and the ball clatters into the base of middle and off.. 214/7 48.4 to M Klaas, Madara keeps striking. This is another legcutter, and the little extra bounce she gets off the surface does Klaas in. The batter is trying to hammer this length ball through the legside, but only sends it hiiiigh into the air off the top edge. Anushka Sanjeewani settles under it with the gloves.. 228/8 48.6 to N Mlaba, another slower ball and another wicket. Wow, this has been some performance from the sole seamer in Sri Lanka's attack, in just her second match. Again it's that little extra kick she gets off the surface when she bowls that legcutter, that proves the difference. This is a legside length delivery, and Mlaba tries to swat it away, Another big top edge results, and Madara gets under it herself this time, and takes it mid-pitch. A little fist pump in celebration.. 228/9

3.4 to T Brits, through her! Sugandika Kumari has slipped one through this form batter's defense. This was fired in fast, just sliding on with the arm. Where Kumari did well was with the length - Brits was unsure whether to come forward or go back, and she hung back, where she tends to be more comfortable. Didn't pick that this was not going to turn, though, so was beaten on the inside edge and had her middle and leg stumps rattled. Kumari is ecstatic.. 17/1

26.4 to L Goodall, holes out to long on! Vihanga has a wicket on debut, and this is a massive scalp in the context of the game! Dangles the carrot just outside off and Goodall bites. She steps down, looking to go over long on but does not get the power she wants. Nilakshi Silva settles herself under the high ball on the fence and makes no mistake. Goodall falls four short of her fourth ODI half-century, and South Africa in a spot of bother now!. 113/4 28.5 to S Luus, oh dear - what have you done, Sune Luus! Fired in on a back of a length outside off. Luus, like she has been doing for much of her innings, walks across, trying to access the region behind square. Gets bat on her glance but all she manages is a deflection onto the stumps. Not what Luus would have had in mind, and certainly not what South Africa would have been hoping for at this stage, but Sri Lanka, well, they keep chipping away!. 120/5 39.1 to CL Tryon, that's a spectacular catch from Nilakshi de Silva at the long on boundary. Wow! Tryon came down the track to this and tried to bang this over long on for six. She didn't quite get it out of the middle, but de Silva still had many metres to cover to her left. She was running at more or less full tilt and reaches out to grab the ball one-handed as she comes tumbling down. She is only inches from the rope when she finishes her slide. That's a hell of a grab, to give Dewmi Vihanga another wicket on debut. 182/6

16.3 to K Meso, that's lovely bowling from the Lankan veteran. This is hung out so tantalisingly outside off, and Meso can't help herself. She plays a big booming cover drive, but Ranaweera has beaten her in the flight, and she hits this straight to short cover, who takes it at belly-height. Superb bit of left-arm orthodox bowling.. 59/3

2.1 to AMCJK Athapaththu, goes straight up, and Athapaththu bites the dust! Klaas with a huuuuuuuuggeeeee scalp! Banged into the track outside off and Athapaththu's eyes light up. She looks to swipe it away but the ball rushes onto her much quicker than expected. Gets big on her too and all she manages is a tame top edge. Meso calls early and makes no mistake, and South Africa let out a collective roar of delight. This is just the start they would have been after; just the kind of beginning Sri Lanka would have wanted to avoid, though!. 9/1

46.1 to H Samarawickrama, oh dear - Samarawickrama falls with the finish line in sight! Full outside off and Samarawickrama cannot resist the temptation to have a pop at it. She thinks she can launch this over mid off and seal a famous win in style but ends up cutting across it too much. A slice straight to Mlaba at mid off, and that brings to an end a terrific knock under pressure!. 232/5

17.6 to GWHM Perera, they've wangled another wicket! Hasini goes in the 40s yet again. They're checking the catch was clean, but Wolvaardt is confident that she had her fingers under it at short midwicket. Hasini had tried to flick this ball to the legside, but was beaten by Luus' flight, and ended up chipping it in the air. Wolvaardt leapt forward and caught it just centimetres from the turf. Replays confirm it was a clean catch. Sri Lanka have lost both set batters now.. 90/3

14.5 to RMVD Gunaratne, the dots brought that wicket! This is what Mlaba does. She built pressure beautifully with the three previous balls, and forced the risky shot from Vishmi, who missed a reverse sweep and was struck in front of off stump. The umpires haven't been giving close lbws today, but the finger goes up quickly for this one. Did she get hit marginally outside the line though? Have too look at that again.. 78/2 43.2 to WK Dilhari, soft, soft dismissal and Dilhari's vigil comes to an end! Short and wide outside off and this just sticks in the surface a touch. Dilhari shapes for the cut and even though she makes decent contact, the lack of pace off the surface means she cannot keep it down. Simple catch to Tryon and a telling partnership comes to an end!. 218/4
