Abey Kuruvilla, the former India medium pacer, has been named chairman of Mumbai's senior selection committee, taking over from the former Mumbai captain, Milind Rege. The other panel members include Rege, Deepak Jadhav and Raju Sutar. The same panel, also headed by Kuruvilla, form the Under-25 selection committee, the Mumbai Cricket Association announced on Thursday.

He retired at the end of the 1999-2000 season. As a selector, he has also served in the junior selection committee, heading the all-India panel in 2011-12.
