Bangladesh board offers TV rights

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has issued a tender to sell marketing rights, including those for television and the internet, for six years until 2012.

The most recent deal the board had, with EPSN Star Sports, expired last year and since then coverage has been arranged on a series-by-series basis. A spokesman for ESPN Star Sports said the company would be interesting in bidding for the new contract.

A Reuters report valued the rights in the region of $40 million.
