Bangladesh win not enough to change player ratings

The predictability of Australia's thumping victory over Bangladesh in their first Test at Darwin at the weekend is reflected in the Test ratings - the victory didn't raise a blip on the ratings monitor.
The only changes on the PriceWaterhouseCoopers ratings are a rise in the points of Sachin Tendulkar and Michael Vaughan and drops in the points of Matthew Hayden and Ricky Ponting, but that was all they were, rises and drops which caused no change on the overall table. Brian Lara still sits at the head of the batting field with others in order: Tendulkar, Vaughan, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Rahul Dravid and Herschelle Gibbs.
No changes have occurred on the order of merit in the bowling ratings, with the only change a slight drop in Muttiah Muralitharan's personal score. However, the start of the South Africa-England series has implications for Shaun Pollock who needs to regain his best touch if he is to hold off Glenn McGrath's mounting challenge for the top position. However, the lowly record of the Bangladesh players means a big haul of wickets against them will not count as much for McGrath as an equivalent haul by Pollock against England would count.
The bowling top 10 is: Pollock, McGrath, Muralitharan, Harbhajan Singh, Jason Gillespie, Andrew Caddick Mikhaya Ntini, Shoaib Akhtar, Anil Kumble, Jacques Kallis.
