Bulls include Kasper

The XXXX Queensland Bulls will call on Michael Kasprowicz for the first time in a first class match this summer with the release of the team to play the Southern Redbacks at the Gabba from Friday.

Kasprowicz convinced the selectors of his full return from shoulder surgery with three consecutive days of cricket - the Mercantile Mutual Cup clash against NSW on Friday, XXXX First Grade cricket on Saturday and Sunday's K&R Plumbing Supplies one-day competition.

Kasprowicz will join Adam Dale and Joe Dawes in the Bulls pace attack against the Redbacks, which are coming off their first outright win in the Pura Cup last week.

The Bulls will also welcome back Australia 'A' century-maker Jimmy Maher and fellow Australia 'A' batsman Martin Love for the match starting Friday.

The Redbacks team contains former Australian batsmen Darren Lehmann and Greg Blewett and ex-Queensland allrounder Mick Miller who relocated to Adelaide at the start of the season to play club cricket for Woodville.
