Shane Warne believes that England are more comfortable with the underdog tag and has questioned if they can cope with being favourites to win.
"England will have to come out to Australia and have to try and retain the trophy. It's a different position for them to be in. I am not sure they like it," Warne told Herald Sun. "For the first time, it will be us chasing England. It's a different mindset. I think they like the position that they are the underdogs and if they win, they win.
"You look at their form since the Ashes series; they have won the one Test. I think they have won three or four one-dayers."
Since winning the Ashes in 2005, England lost the Test series 2-0 in Pakistan and drew 1-1 in India. Andrew Flintoff admitted that England would "have to get used to being favourites" if they wanted to dethrone Australia as the best side in the world.
"England are basically now the second-best side in the world. It takes a bit of time to adapt," said Warne."It's a different mindset when you approach the series and suddenly your own expectations and everybody else's expectations are that you are going to win."
Australia have not lost a Test since the defeat at Trent Bridge in 2005. They beat West Indies 3-0 and South Africa 2-0 at home before whitewashing South Africa 3-0 and Bangladesh 2-0 on overseas tours.
