Former South Africa coach Graham Ford has asked to be released from his contract as head coach of the Nashua Dolphins for personal reasons. Ford, 45, who also coaches Kent in the English County Championship, had only recently returned to the domestic scene.
Cassim Docrat, CEO of the KZN Cricket Union, said: ' It is very sad to lose Graham Ford as Head Coach of the Nashua Dolphins. We are in a rebuilding phase, and Graham has a proven track record in bringing young players through, however we have to respect his personal wishes and wish him well. Our doors are always open to Graham in which ever capacity he wishes to contribute to KZN Cricket'.
Provincial team coach Yashin Ebrahim will succeed him as head coach with immediate effect.
