Ganga: I Wasn't Informed About Decision

West Indies batsman Daren Ganga said yesterday he was not informed that he was in the initial team picked on Tuesday to go to England.

When contacted by telephone in his room at the Caribbee Hotel where the West Indies 'A' Team is staying, the Trinidadian batsman was initially reluctant to say whether he was informed, as he noted that he did not want to 'incriminate anyone'.

Ganga said he had seen stories in the local newspapers stating that he was one of the 16 going to England for the three-month tour and added that he was disappointed after hearing the team announced by chairman of selectors Michael Findlay at a Press conference yesterday.
