Glenn Turner signs on for another year with Otago

Former international batsman and coach Glenn Turner will be coach of the Otago team for the next season.

Turner, who has coached the side for the past two summers, was keen to continue the role in which he has seen end this season with the chance of taking third place in the State Championship.

Otago Cricket's chief executive Graeme Elliott said: "I am very pleased that Glenn has agreed to continue in his role as coach.

"The appointment gives us continuity, the opportunity to build on the progress made this season and to share a wealth of experience."

Otago play their last game of the season against Wellington starting today in Alexandra.
