In the only Championship game starting today, Leicestershire made amends for their recent defeat against Essex by posting a massive 403 for 4 against Durham at Grace Road. Brad Hodge, the new captain, was the star of the show, hitting 200 not out from only 231 balls, including 38 fours and a six as Jon Lewis, Durham's captain, was left ruing his decision to field first. Darren Robinson scored 62 at the top of the order, and Darren Stevens weighed in with 84 in a stand of 223 with Hodge.
