Hong Kong team named for ACC Under-16 Elite Cup 2012

The Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA) has announced the Hong Kong team for the upcoming ACC Under-16 Elite Cup 2012 tournament to be played in Malaysia during 2-13 May 2012.

The Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA) is pleased to announce the Hong Kong team for the upcoming ACC Under-16 Elite Cup 2012 tournament to be played in Malaysia during 2-13 May 2012.
Hong Kong is place in Group A alongside Singapore, Thailand and Oman, while Nepal, Malaysia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iran make up Group B. Hong Kong will be based in Penang during the group phase of the tournament and will travel to Kuala Lumpur for the play-off matches.
The Hong Kong team will be captained by HKCC's Anshuman Rath, with KCC's Hersh Khatri as his deputy.
The Hong Kong team for the ACC Under-16 Elite Cup 2012 is:
Anshuman Rath (Captain), Hersh Khatri (Vice Captain), Ansh Lulla, Apurv Sharma, Asim Hussain, Ashfaq Daood, Hamza Jawaid, Harpreet Singh, Jhathavedh Subramanyan, Karan Shah, Suhaib Ahmad, Abdul Rahman, Niraj Patwari, Usama Ahmad.
Reserves: Giacomo Lamplough, Arslan Yasin, Mohsin Khan, Rahul Prakash Choithramani.
Officials: Jawaid Iqbal (Coach), Najeeb Amar (Manager), Rosemary Burnett (Physiotherapist).
In addition to ability, players have been selected based on the following criteria:
1. Date of Birth eligibility
2. ACC Bone age eligibility
3. Required number of HKSAR passport holders in the team
4. Player's commitment to and attitude at training.
