The ICC today reiterated that no decision has been made regarding the hosting of the ICC Women's World Cup in 2009 in response to an inaccurate media report which indicated a host has already been determined.
The hosting of this and other ICC events from 2007 to 2015 are currently under consideration. The next discussions on the hosting of these events will take place at the ICC Board meeting on 30 April.
Submissions to host the ICC Women's World Cup 2009 have been received from India, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates.
