India v Pakistan, Champions Trophy, Group A, Centurion

26-Sep-2009
Pakistan had slipped from 53 for 1 in the ninth over to 65 for 3 in the 15th before Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf put the innings back on track. The pair added a whopping 206 runs for the fourth wicket to lead Pakistan to a match-winning total.
After Sachin Tendulkar's early dismissal, Gautam Gambhir had given India momentum by racing to a half-century. However, his aggression ended on 57 when Younis Khan's throw from mid-off caught Gambhir short of his crease. Oddly, Gambhir showed no urgency in trying to make his ground.
Suresh Raina threatened to take the game away from Pakistan, hitting Shoaib Malik for two fours and a six during his innings of 46 off 41 balls. Just when India seemed to be taking control of the game, Saeed Ajmal struck Raina on the boot with a faster one and earned the lbw.
