Jamaica beat Barbados by an emphatic 245 runs at Chedwin Park to win the 2005 Carib Beer title. The defending champions, Barbados, continued their poor form this season, losing their last 8 wickets for just 148 runs. Beginning the day on 74 for 2, Dwayne Smith (33) and Ryan Hinds (36) provided resistance after Barbados lost the wicket of Dale Richards early in the day. But there was late-order hitting by Tino Best, who ran up 34 from 22 balls. The Jamaican attack was led by David Bernard Jr who grabbed 3 for 29 while Odean Brown finished with 3 for 74.
Leeward Islands 372 (Morton 106) and 377 for 6 (Jeffers 128, Cornwall 85) drew with Trinidad & Tobago 579 (Ganga 265, Mahabir 112)

Shane Jeffers proved the only bright spot in a dull draw between Leeward Islands and Trinidad & Tobago on the last day of the Carib Beer match in Montserrat. Resuming the day on 64 for 1, Leewards ended at 377 for 5 with a lead of 170. Jeffers's knock of 128 included 18 fours and four sixes, and he was involved in three important partnerships - the highest being 114 with Wilden Cornwall, who compiled 85. Amit Jaggernauth, performed well for T&T, scalping 4 for 144.
Windward Islands 443 (Smith 81, Lewis 82) and 157 for 8 drew Guyana 396 (Chanderpaul 125, Butler 5-81)

The Windward Islands secured first-innings points against Guyana as the Carib Beer match ended in a draw at Bourda. Guyana, who commenced from their overnight score of 383 for 7, were bundled out for 396, with Shivnarine Chanderpaul left stranded on 138. Deighton Butler ended up with career-best figures of 5 for 81 to help Windwards gain a first-innings lead of 47. Windwards collapsed miserably in their second innings to 87 for 8, before Orlanzo Jackson (37 not out) and Deighton Butler, with 30 not out, combined in a 70-run partnership. Guyana's bowlers failed to take the last two wickets as the match ended with Windwards stuck on 157 for 8. Reon King captured 4 for 40.
