Pakistan will outclass England on a turning Faislabad track, predicts coach Javed Miandad ahead of the second Test.
Missing out on victory at Lahore was largely due to the slow pitch that gave England a better chance against spin, Miandad maintained, but the wicket in Faislabad will pose many more problems for the tourists.
"I am confident we will win in the second Test and the strip at Iqbal Park will turn," he said.
"The pitch looks hard and I think it will take turn and we have quality spinners in the squad.
"I had said England will not be easy to beat and may prove tough for us. They played well in Lahore but this time around I think we will come through successfully."
Pakistan have five spinners in their squad of 15 and are likely to play three of them - Saqlain Mushtaq, Arshad Khan and teenage leg-spinner Danish Kaneria -with Shahid Afridi as a spinning all-rounder.
This week's match will be a special occasion for Pakistan paceman Wasim Akram, who will be playing the 100th Test of his career.
