Moin fined for dissent

Moin Khan has been fined 75% of his match fee for showing dissent following his dismissal in Pakistan's second innings in the Multan Test.

Ranjan Madugalle, the match referee, announced that Moin had breached section 2.2 of the ICC code of conduct, which deals with showing dissent at an umpire's decision. Moin indicated that he had got an inside edge after being adjudged lbw by Simon Taufel, off Irfan Pathan.

Apart from Madugalle, Moin and Taufel, the disciplinary hearing was attended by Inzamam-ul-Haq, Haroon Rashid, the Pakistan team manager, David Shepherd, and Asad Rauf, the third umpire.
