Nehra to recover fitness in time for ODIs

Although Ashish Nehra is definitively ruled out of the Test series against New Zealand, he should be back on his feet in time for the one-day triseries, said Andrew Leipus, the Indian team's physiotherapist.

When questioned about Nehra's chances of playing the triseries, Leipus said: "That's the goal at the moment - one day cricket. But not Test matches".

Nehra's ankle injury has kept him out of competitive cricket ever since the World Cup earlier this year.
