strict vigilance and all their activities are being monitored by the
PCB with the help of security agencies.
PCB has taken extraordinary measures for closely monitoring the
activities of all members of the team", said an official of the Board
while talking to APP here Thursday.
Visitors are not allowed to the rooms of the players and all the
guests are being diverted to the room of team manager, Brig Javed
Nasir (Retd) to arrange a meeting with the guests.
In the lobby of the hotel where Pakistan as well as England teams are
staying, security agencies personnel are deputed to check the unwanted
elements and even the autograph seekers.
Even phone calls to rooms by unknown callers are not being directed to
the the players. Instead the operator is giving a set answer "nobody
is in the room ,please contact the team manager or coach Javed
Miandad".
Everything is under control and we will follow the same procedure and
observe the same rules during the next match at Karachi," he said.
