Six Bangladesh bowlers have been banned from taking part in the upcoming Premier and First Division Leagues after their actions were reported.
Faisal Hossain, Jamaluddin Babu, Saifullah Khan, Imran Parvez, Kamrul Hasan and Wascorni Palash come under Grade 2 in the BCB's system and were banned during the 2006-07 domestic season. They were instructed to rectify their bowling actions in accordance with ICC guidelines and were video-taped by Mohammad Salahuddin, the board's high performance analyst.
Another six bowlers were also assessed and given Grade 1 status. They will be allowed to bowl for the rest of the season but face the risk of being banned for life if reported by the umpires again.
